I'm Sorry, Ryan Franklin

I've just spent five minutes closely examining the pitch-by-pitch recap of today's game, looking for any shred of evidence to diminish what Franklin did today, and I couldn't find a thing. I'll just put up his line and shut up for as long as he pitches like this:

8 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 2 walks, 1 strikeout, 2 runs, 83 pitches, 64 strikes.

Comments:
Holey crap! That's Madduxesque!

But is Maddux from Spiro, Oklahoma?

my only question is why they didn't let him finish the game? I know he gave up 2 in the 9th, but 83 pitches over 8 2/3 innings is pretty damn effecient. The only negative I can think of is that it was against AAA competition, but that's beside the point.
Now can Sele keep it going tomorrow? It's probably time for him to start looking over his shoulder.
